Lake Windermere and Columbia Lake offer numerous beaches and boating of all types. Spend the day canoeing the incredible wetlands or tube the headwaters of the Columbia River. Enjoy wakeboarding on the lake or simply people watch from one of the many beaches. You can spend the day at Radium Hot Springs or Fairmont Hot Springs, two of North America’s largest hot springs locations. You can also enjoy the pools and hot tubs at Panorama.
Golf at one of the many courses, up and down the valley. Whether you are just beginning or are a scratch golfer, looking for the ultimate challenge, one thing is for sure; the friendliness or hospitality you experience is unmatched anywhere.
For biking enthusiasts, there are trails for beginners to hardcore. You can meander along a river shore or feel the rush of one of the downhill trails at Panaorma. Head out for the day with a picnic lunch and family in tow or watch the kids, geared up like gladiators, heading out for a hard ride.
